I have never done this b4, well I suppose I have never needed to. But at the beginning of this year I was knocked down by a car, the injuries I sustained were very severe. I have a wife who cares for me as I am unable to do certain things for myself and 4 children in which my youngest is just 2 years old. I have applied for PIP but have been told there is a 16 week waiting list just for the medical assessment and because I have to wait to see if I get this, my wife cannot claim carers allowance. We do not have a lot of money coming in at the moment as I was the one who worked and because I was off work b4 the accident for tests, my statuary sick pay has run out. We are struggling on a weekly basis and do not know how long we r gonna be able to pay the bills for. I know I sound like I am moaning about my life but I am not, I am luckier than some as I have a fantastic wife, 4 great kids and a roof over our heads. Hello! I start a new job next week, a job I have been searching for since becoming a widowed single parent 2 years ago. I am thrilled to finally have a job and can't wait to start! There is just one problem. To get my daughter to school and then get myself to work is going to be really really tight. I will have 20 minutes to get from the school to my place of work, and it's either an hours walk or 40 minutes using public transport. Then it's the same thing after - my hours are 9am to 3pm so I will have 15 minutes to get to school to collect her at the end of the day and that's impossible using public transport or walking. I fear any money I may have spare to save for a car will be used paying for cabs every day so I am not late for work or late picking her up from school. There is no-one who can take my daughter to school or collect her for me, that's something I have been trying to organise for the last fortnight with no success. My work hours are not flexible. Once I have started work I can begin to save for a car, I am just really worried about the first month or so and don't want to mess it up due to unavoidable lateness - I desperately need this job, it's taken so long to find. Thank you for reading this far. I am not asking for money for a new car, £1000 should be enough to get a decent used car and the first years insurance. It would make things so much easier for us! I am struggling with living costs even though I work most evenings as I have many Pay Day Loan debts and the cost of equipment and resources for my course is also extremely expensive. I can barely afford food and sometimes can't afford to get to University. I am trying to raise money to help with living costs and when I am financially stable I would like to buy my own equipment to start my own business as a freelance photographer/filmmaker, I don't even have a laptop at the moment so it is making studying very hard!! I'm a 41 year old guy that's worked all his life, I admit in the past I didn't really save very well and the result is that now I'm in a very tight situation financially, in fact let's call it how it is, I've hit my financial brick wall. I work for myself as a self employed IT consultant and trainer. However in this last year my mother became very ill and I've needed to spend more time looking after than I have in all honesty done working on my business. The result is that I now have a key debt coming due, basically the finance on my vehicle that allows me to get about and work, and helps me get my mother to medical appointments etc. I don't want to clear the whole debt off, something I've seen many others on websites like this ask for, but I would like some help to scrape by this next month by helping me bring the payments up to date. I'm sure I'll be able to bring myself back to financial health soon if I can just get by this time. I am a caring individual and I do put others needs before myself, always willing to help out others when they are in need, this time I am hoping for a bit of karmic return to help me out in my current difficulties. Hi, We are a family of 4. Me, my partner and our 2 young children. I am a stay at home mum and my partner is self employed. Recently my partner has had an accident through no fault of his own and is unable to work. We don't claim any sort of benefits and now have no income at all. The council are on our backs for the rent bill amongst other people wanting money for bills. Money which we just physically don't have. If you could please find it in your heart to donate just a small amount to help out a family in need it would be very much appreciated.
