I love what i do, but not who i do for. My boss it’s a colossal tool who treats his workers like crap. I’m tired of living check to check while he tells us how we need to try these nice restaurants that cost more per meal then our weeks wages. I like crafting things. Food, cars, woodworking, i like all. I want to use that to make money for myself instead of someone else. I have 101 ideas that i could probably make a fair living off of, but they all take more to start then i can raise myself, so I’m here to ask for help. I want to make furniture. I want to brew and sell good beer. I want to make things out of leather. I want to patent my ideas and see them made. If nothing else i want to marry my girlfriend. Hello, I'm 54 years old and lost my husband to cancer several years ago. Due to hospital bills, after his passing there wasn't much insurance money left. After a couple of years (with two teenage sons) I had to either sell the house or lose it to foreclosure, I sold it but didn't gain anything with the sale. Since that time I've continued struggling. There has been no great event that has put me in financial hardship, it's been a like a snowball rolling downhill and piling up at the bottom. I do work, and actually have a pretty good job, however due to old issues I can never get above water. I owe the IRS (I did not contribute enough because I needed all I could get) - I owe student loans and have really bad credit due to being unable to pay other loans because of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I try to pay as much as possible and then don't have any food money. I know there are people out there that have had catostrophic happenings in their lives that would make my problems seem small but they don't seem small to me. All I want is to be debt free and be able to put a little away for when I can't work anymore, if anyone could help, even a little I greatly appreciate it and if I am ever in a position will 'pay it forward' to someone else.

So this isn't necessarily a sob story. I am a 23 year old Mexican and Black lesbian. Still living with my mother something I said I wouldn't b doing by this age. I am currently working right now making minimum wage. I am moving to California in January, given the world doesn't end on Dec. 21st. I will be living with a friend for a few months. So that was I can save up for a car nothing fancy. Something in the range of $2500-3000. I will also have to be saving for an apartment, because my friends house is small and everyone knows living wit friends doesn't last long. Once I have a car and a place to myself I will be starting film school in the fall. AKA going into major debt, because of student loans. So I am in need of a little help with saving. My mom is struggling with bills and rent its almost impossible to save. I won't be able to actually save any money until she finds a second job, which is hard because the economy sucks and no one is hiring. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

I recently had an unexpected vet visit where in I agreed to pay the bill over time. I was doing ok until I lost my job due to cutbacks. Now I owe 600 by next week or else interest will kick in. on top of that I owe 150 to ATT. I have been doing odd jobs here and there but it has not quite been enough to push me out of debt. Anything would help. thank you
