I am from Flint, MI. When I entered the career force things were booming. I became a project manager at a local stone shop. I was paid well, had good benefits, and lots of vacation time. Life was grand. Then due to the economy busrting i was let go. He said he had no choice. Half of the shop was let go. Eventually the company crumbled. I've been out of work for almost 3 years now. Thank God my wife has a good job or we would be out on the streets. To make matters worse I have become disabled. Even to the point that I can't work if there were work in this city. I worry my wife will leave me. I have appled for disablity and was rejected. I then got an attorney and she is helping me appeal it. My wife does everything she can but it just doen't pay all the bills. I wish there was more I could do but I'm just not able, at least for now, to provide. It kills me inside. Please know that I am a good man fallen on hard times. Anything will help. Thank you

Hello there :) I don't normally ask for help but I'm struggling and I don't know what to do, so I'm asking for £100 to help towards my rent. My name is Becky and I'm 27 years old. Three weeks ago I lost my job due to the company I worked for going into administration. I've now found employment elsewhere but I won't be paid until the end of May as I have to work a month in-hand. At the moment, my situation isn't good (Like many of you). I'm having to work part time at the moment as it is the only job on offer in my area, I also have a 19 month old daughter and a disabled partner. I have no savings and I'm at risk of losing my home. The money raised will be to pay towards 1 months rent. This will ensure I don't lose my home and will reduce the worry of trying to find enough money to pay the bills, food and keeping a roof over my families head. Hello everyone, I will keep this short and sweet. I ended up dropping out of college back in 2009 due to financial hardship and the rising costs of tuition. This of course is when I went to a physical campus. I have now decided to resurface from the ashes and get back in the fight to achieve a college education. Hi! First let me say that this is my first time on this website! I was kind of modest to ask for anything, I hate asking for anything from anyone but unfortunately that's not the way the world works. ;/ If you wants something you have to ask for it. I am in fact a 'foster child' at the moment and I don't have a lot of money. I'm going to be enrolled in College pretty soon & I'll have even less money. I'm indeed in the position of getting a job, but I haven't exactly found one yet!! I have a birthday coming up in November & I'm planning on going out of state. I want to try & get some work out there & have fun while I'm doing it, but I need money while I'm out there. I'm trying to raise about 5,000 in a month. Not gona bore ya with a pity-me sob story - I'm broke for SO many crappy reasons and to try make SOME kind of life for myself, I really hope to go to college. Simple as that, but as there's no such thing as free education, and at nearly 30 years of age, I need to pay a mortgage aswell as tuition fees while working a part -time job (that's even if I manage to get one!). So it's either give up and sit at home, spend the next 10 years saving while in a dead end job, or try something different - like this!
