I am a single mother of 3 young children. I work full-time, but my ex-husband stopped paying his child support 3 months ago and I am no longer able to meet our expenses on my income alone. I was not able to pay our November rent, and even though I have paid our rent on time and in full every month for over 3 years, our landlord is being a jerk and is taking us to the magistrate within days to start eviction proceedings. He refuses to take partial payment and allow me more time to gather the rest of the rent. I have applied at multiple agencies and charities for help, but have been turned away or denied by everyone. I work as a social worker, and spend all day, every day providing help to families in need, but in my time of need I have not been able to receive help from anyone. This is our last resort. We live a simple life - I do not have cable or a car payment. We do not go out to eat. Every piece of clothing that we own has come from the thrift store, and we scavenge furniture off of the streets when the college students move out at the end of the year. I have cut every single expense out of my budget that I could, but between rent and student loans plus having to feed and clothe the kids, I fell short last month. Please help us!!! I have a 3 year old son whom I love dearly. Since August, I have struggled to keep a roof over our head and food in our mouths. His father left us when he was 18 months old - taking away almost all of our money, but we coped. But then I lost my job due to the company going into administration. I have been desperately trying on what little I have to keep us going, but it is becoming increasing impossible. I currently owe £400, and clearing it will get my monthly payments down to a manageable size. It may not seem like much, but it is gathering interest and taking the food out of our mouths. The situation got even worse when I came down with meningitis a few weeks ago, as I currently struggle to have the energy to go about daily tasks, let alone try and cope with my debt. So I am begging you, any kind and generous person out there, if you have a pound going spare - that is the price of a bottle of coke - I would really appreciate it.

Hi there, I am almost at the end of my nurse training with only weeks left however due to transport costs getting to and from my full-time nursing placement everyday and lack of money (earn less than minimum wage to train as a nurse!) I am down to my last pennies. I am currently working full time on placement and have a dissertation and two assignments to hand in, within the next four weeks. Any donation to see me through the next few weeks would be greatly appreciated. I am living on toast at the moment as all my wages goes on fuel to commute to a hospital I have to work at 40 miles (80mile round trip daily) away. (Public transport would cost more, hence why I drive) I will commence a full time job working as a nurse once I qualify but am facing a tough couple of months before that happens. All I want to do is care for others but as it stands I am not going to be able to afford to pay to get to work and look after patients in the next few weeks. Please help if you can.
