Greetings everyone, I am currently about to go off to college: Howard University to be exact. It cost over $40,000 to attend and with a family of 5 that's not very easy to pay. I'm just asking you all to donate whatever you can to me. I don't care how much. Hi, I'm in a very bad situation at this time, and am asking for help. I am a mother of two, and my husband left me stuck with bogus bills while I myself was only receiving unemployment at that time. I eventually went back to work, but a couple of months afterwards my car broke down. Being that I most definitely could not afford a babysitter, I started working from home. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, my computer all of a sudden crashes. So i ended up with no internet (disconnected), phone (disconnected), job, or car. Fortunately, I have nice neighbors that allow me to use their internet @ this time, but still not able to work because I have no phone, and the public transportation in this area stop running very early, which will not work because all of the job openings require that you work a flexible schedule. Currently I am in debt with my house bills being that I was not able to play catch up, and have now received an electricity cut off notice. I have no idea how I am gonna be able to afford to pay my bills or my rent. I fear that me and my children are on the verge of becoming homeless, because we have no one else to turn to or help us. So please if you're reading this, and find it in your heart to donate in order to help me go back to work, as well as take care of other important tasks like pay my past due bills, Dr.'s appointments., be active in my children's school, be able to go and buy grocery's, etc... I would be so appreciative, and thankful! I never thought that I would actually be put in this situation where I would force myself to ask those that I do not know for help. I am learning that sometimes you have to put your pride aside, especially if it's for a cause that will not just benefit you, but those whom you love even more than yourself which are my children. Hi, I am a mother of two, and have received a cut off notice from Virginia Power. The date when they plan on cutting off my electricity is 4/3/2013. I have a debt of $707.88. My financial crisis started when my husband left me and my kids with unpaid bills, and during that time I was receiving unemployment. I currently receive funds from S.S.I, Child Support, and foodstamps. My bills are more than I can afford, and so all the income I recieve are for bills. I am not able to even buy clothing for me nor my kids. I started to have so much bad luck dating back 10/2012. My car broke down, my computer crashed (worked from home), and so I was not able to work. My neighbors allowed me to use their internet due to mine being disconnected. My phone was also disconnected last month, and so I am not able to work at this time. My rent will be $820 starting next month. I am responsible for water and electricity. I have no one else to help, no family in the area, or that would be able to provide any assistance. I have applied for low income housing, but am not sure how long that will take. If I am able to pay the electricity debt, I will be able to pay rent and all other bills, which will be covered with the income I now receive. Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

I was laid off two months ago and I had been looking for a job since. I finally found one, but I don't start until next week. I've gone through my emergency funds. I won't have enough money to make my $625 rent. There are other bills that need to be paid, but I'm the most concerned about having a roof over my head, the rest can wait for my first paycheck. Our landlord refuses to extend the due date. I don't have many personal items, so I really don't have anything to sell. I'm just having a really rough time and I just need to get over this one hurdle to make it. Anything will help. Thank you!

26yr old Single Mom to 2 children. Been out of work for months. Jobs are very few and slim here. I had left a prospering business to come back to my home state to assist my terminally ill Grandfather whom has since passed. I have fell majorly behind and facing eviction within 3wks. I have a very promising job offer in Venice, Fla. If I can raise the funds for a Uhaul, gas, and first months rent I could move my family for better opportunities. God Bless
