I am a single mother of two that has gone through a financial hardship. I was layed off after 10 years six months ago. I have recently found new employment but I struggle to catch up. Hi folks, I've been working part time where I can walk to work but I've now gotten a interview for a real job but I need repair work on my car so I can get to the workplace. I've got to be able to be available from 3am thru 11pm so I need to be independent again. The repair shop has given a quote of about $600 for all the work so if anyone can help me out would be appreciated. even a little will go far. Thank you all so much.

I'm a guy in his mid 50s who was downsized out of a job last year. January got a new job but thanks to "Sequestor" I was last one hired first one to let go. That was mid April and since then after dozens of applicatons and 4 interviews still out of work. And now I am dead broke with eveything around me going downhill. Unemployment ran out and have tried to go on SNAP for food but still have nothing. The 20 year old car runs but has no gas. I can walk to the Metro but have no money for the farecard. I am asking for help from anyone. Even a few dollars will give a meal this day. Thank God I have no children just 2 cats. My need is dire and is now. I have tried the social agencies but can't get to them for any interviews which they say will take a week to setup. In one week I will probably be dead. Already been to the pawnshops with what little of value I have. Trying to sell things on Craigslist but get nothing but stupid responses. I am real, the "system" has failed me. I need help right now. Hello, My name is Juanye I am a Senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin Majoring in Social Work. For the past three years I have worked the night shift a Goodyear making tires. The plant has since shut down and I cannot afford to pay my bills anymore. I have been looking for work all over Weakley County but have been unable to find a job. Martin has been hit hard by these tough economic times. To put salt in my wound i was hurt at work and now have to pay for medical expenses out of my own pocket. I have no support I rely on myself with no assistance from my parents like most of my classmates. My major is Social Work and when i graduate i should be able to find a job but that is not until next May. Please help me I promise when i graduate i will give back my major is all about Love and defending people who cannot defend or help themselves.
