This is partly my fault, partly bad luck. I have been looking for a new job out here in Asia, and I thought I’d found the perfect job, so I relaxed a little knowing I’d soon have work. Last week the job fell through because of difficulties with the visa. Now I am trying to get home for my first Christmas home in three years, and I don’t even have enough for the flight. yes I should have been smarter, but we all make mistakes. i have never found myself in this situation before and have definitely learnt my lesson. But I promise to help others out in the future, whether it was a fault of their own or not. just imagine never getting to spend time with your family at Christmas time
