To help children achieve in our organization

Donate generously and save a k, Africa

Our Vision - Education can alleviate poverty, hunger, and the AIDS epidermic in Africa. Our Mission - Improve education in rural Africa to provide children with the opportunity to reach their full potential, lead better lives, and inspire future generations. Description - AIA's co-founder, Brendan Callan, first went on a relief trip to Tanzania in the summer of 2007 when he witnessed the lack of educational infrastructure in the country firsthand. He was inspired by the children's enthusiasm for learning, despite the distressed state and lack of schools. Noticing the need across the country and limited help available, Brendan and friend, Alyssa Snow, formed Achieve in Africa as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in September 2008 to help improve education in rural areas of Africa that are most in need. Brendan and Alyssa have since married and work diligently to manage and grow the organization. Here is what your donation can do:- $6,000 = 1 new classroom from the cement foundation to the walls, windows, and doors. $1,000 = 2 solar panels, 1 battery, and 3 bulbs to fill a Community Learning center (CLC) with light. $500 = 1 bathroom for students. $200 = 1 electric sewing machine for the Women's Sewing Center (WSC). $100 = 5 sheets of window glass, for making 5 windows. $40 = 1 multi-student wood and metal desk. $20 = 2 packages of cement for building a classroom. $10 = 1 math set & enough pencils, pens, & workbooks. Why Give The Gift Of Hope We Maximize the Impact of Your Donation - Because of our established relationship with the village governments and local suppliers where we work, we are able to obtain significant cost savings material and labor. Once a classroom is constructed, the Tanzanian government will provide and pay the salary for a new teacher. There is Tremendous Need - Since most of the villagers live on less than $1 a day, they sorely lack the resources to fund new classrooms for their village. Together, we can accelerate learning and change lives. Achievements..... What We've done: 7 classrooms renovated. 8 classrooms constructed. 280 desks provided. 3 education sites with electricity.

Broke Down Car, Rent

Tjb76, Texas

My wife has an attorney and is trying to collect disability. I have sold or pawned to survive along the way all I have of value even my wifes wedding rings. I am in dire need of a vehicle that runs and is legal and this being Texas air condition would be nice but not a deal breaker or someone who could put a new engine in my vehicle (I do not have an engine). I have lost my job I am on the verge of losing my apartment I have absolutely run out of funds. Family cannot help me anymore (not because they do not want too of course) I have nowhere else to turn. I am not a scammer. I have always done my best to help people in a time of need and still would if given the resources to do so. There are still good people left in this world. Please My wife children and I would be greatly appreciative.

URGENT

Ragdolllover, Beaverton, OR

Dear prospective doner, First off, I want to thank you for reading this letter of request. I have not done this before, but I really need your help to keep hubby and I housed. My husband is a good and loyal man. His last job ended after 16 years with the company. He was told just before the holidays, last year, that the company was closing. Since then he has been trying to find employment where ever he can, but the economy is truly bad here in Oregon and he has found nothing but a very part time job, which he took because he could. Now, unemployment is holding his checks and it could be up to 6 weeks before he see's any money from them. We are in arrears on our rent by 2 months and I have medical problems that I need to see a doctor for but medicare only covers some and we cannot afford even the co-pay right now. My medical issues are somewhat numerous but suffice it to say, I suffer PTSD, Severe pain and Diabetes along with a very deep depression. I cannot work but am trying to get a little business off the ground, again, on no money. Our income right now is less than $700 a month and our rent is $820 so I'm sure you can see, we truly are in need. If we cannot keep this place, we will have to live on the streets because we have no more cushion to fall back on and our credit is in ruins. My husband has worked hard for the past 30 years to make sure my daughter was raised properly and we had all the basic needs plus a little more. It is now, my turn to try to help this family out and the only way I haven't tried is by asking strangers for help. Please help me keep my health up and my husband from losing it all together by sending a donation to help my cause? Thank you, again, for your time and consideration. I know God will provide through you. Sincere Blessings to you and yours, Ragdolllover
