I need you!! I am single handedly supporting my family on minimum wage with no state help. When I was younger I used store cards and loans, now I am unable to pay. I know this is my own fault. But I am being honest here, I don't know what will happen if I can not support my family. I don't know what will happen if I cant pay my bills. Hi all, I found out last week that one of my 56 year old neighbours has been living without water and electricity for over a year. Her troubles started five years ago when her husband of 26 years came out the closet and told her he was homosexual and wanted a divorce. He moved out and subsequently sold off all their assets without her knowledge. He took away her car which resulted in her loosing her job. She then began working from home doing baking and sewing to make ends meet. Her husband then stopped paying the utility bills so they cut her power and water off. At the same time cutting off her sole source of income. Sonny has been shower at a neighbours house for the last year and doing odd jobs just to survive. When I heard of Sonny's story I immediately rallied some of our neighbours and we managed to put some funds together to buy her a gas stove, gas light and two gas bottles along with some food and essentials. I have commitments from some neighbour who will help sonny with food etc on a monthly basis but there is one mountain we just can't seem to conquer on our own... her utility bill is currently outstanding in the amount of ZAR20,000 (USD2000). I'm a brain surgery survivor.. But due to the injuries (stroke & epilepsy) I sustained from the two procedures.. I've been out of work for 2 yrs. I try to due what i can to make money that's not physical to get by. Please if you can spare anything It'll be greatly appreciated. What i plan to due with the money is put it toward a money making home business such as blogging and online store. I love to write and i love interacting with people. My meds cost me about 200 dollars a month. I've been turned down 3 times already for disability and lawyers say its apart of the process.. But doctors have told me due to my injuries.. There is no way i shouldn't receive assistance. So you can only imagine my frustration. I just want a chance to be like everyone else.. I want to opportunity to work.. But i have to work twice as hard now because of my disability. God Bless.
