My identical twin brother and I are in need of $7000. Since the recession we have been evicted and have racked up a lot of bills. Now we are living in our parents basement. We need to buy equipment like a laptop, a camera, and programs. This would also help us help out are parents as they are finding themselves in the same situation and may loose their house. With this equipment we would get some photo shoots for money lined up, as-well-as allow us to up date our portfolio and create a brochure so that we could send out and advertise our services. I am a 31 years old woman, employed full time (better said working my tits off for a peanuts) and PhD student in economics living with my beloved partner S. in a happy relationship. That is the general view. Not bad, right? Unfortunately it's bad. Two years ago my partner had an accident. Nothing major, but kept him off work for a seven months. Sickness pay is a lough: 250 a month. We survived that undamaged with a little debt,which we almost paid off when S. lost his job last year. He is in his 40. and it's not easy for people his age with little education to find jobs nowadays. My wage unfortunately isn't enough to pay rent and feed to both of us (and a cat) so we slowly, slowly got ourselves in debt. Two months ago the biggest disaster happened - our landlord informed us that we need to move out, because he is selling the property and moving out to South Africa. And he did without giving us back security deposit for the flat we lived in. So we had to face finding a new place to live and gather money to pay deposit for new place and rent in advance. And that means only one thing - more debt. Because either of us ever took any credit we don't have almost any credit rating and all the loans we took are with high interest. Now we are 4,500 in debt and need to pay of enormous interests that will probably leave us homeless. Someone will say that is not a big debt. Maybe in relative numbers is not, but for the two of us it's a disaster as we are not able to keep up with payments. The only last resource we see is to ask strangers for help. If you can afford to donate even a dollar for us it will be the dollar that gets us closer to securing a roof over our heads this month and feed our cat. Thank you for reading our story. K and S

To be honest 3 years ago i would have never pictured myself in this situation. I was married and we had just bought a house, unfortunately it all turned out quite differently. The marriage of 5 years (we were together for 10) didn't work out, we tried everything to save our marriage..... or at least i did. He turned out to be cheating in the time we tried to work it out. So i left, finally after almost 2,5 years of headache and mess we finally got divorced. In the time he (alone) was living in our house he turned (a brand new build) house in to a mess. I spent 3 weeks cleaning it with 5 of my friends. After cleaning it i could finaly get a realtor in to start selling the house. In these almost 2,5 years he was living there I was living in a few rented houses (one by one off course). because i wanted to do it neatly I kept on paying my half of the costs of the house. So my monthly wages were spent on two houses and i had to do everything to just life. He had promised me he would pay his share of the monthly expenses but it turns out he didn't. After the whole cleaning and getting the house on the market I got him to leave the house. Eventhough I have a sharp asking price (which will leave me with this debt) there is no interest in my house. The housemarket had plummeted, my beautiful again house is worth roughly 60.000 euro's less then my mortgage is. Now I am living in the house, trying my best to sell it (made posters, hand out flyers, get my house listed on every site that doesn't charge you when you post it). But the situation worsened. My ex is not paying his half of the costs. So I had to hire a laywer and eventhough my laywer is confinced I will win the procedure it takes months to get it in court. This leaves me in the situation that even with my fulltime job and doing all kinds of extra jobs i am still facing a shortage of about 1200 euro's a month until the house is sold. And after the house is sold I will immediately have to pay 30.000 euro's (my part of the debt because the house is worth less). This is why I have now posted my story, I am asking you to give me anything, nothing is to less........ everything will absolutely help me getting out of this situation and maybe one day have a normal life again. I need $500 more to give my mama the best mothers day anyone has ever gotten. The doctors have given her 4 more months to live. Shes has always been there for me and I need to be there for her.
