Save my Life.

I am a 48yo male. I have had a heart condition since i was 21. About 15 years ago I went for heart surgery and got a staph infection in my chest. I was in the hospital for months fighting this and was told I would not live. I am lucky to be alive 15 years later. However the staph damaged my heart. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed. I also developed irregular heart beats leaving me dizzy most of the time. All this left me disabled on Social Security and medicare. Before this I always worked 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctor installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car .. 1996 Chevy Corsica is no longer road worthy. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I didn't realize how important my car was until i couldn't use it. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. I have about $3000 in medical bills. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and payments toward medical bills. Other than socks and underwear I have not bought any clothes in 15 years ... nothing. I am asking for any help. Most important i need to get a car or fix my car which needs $2300 in repairs. Exhaust, brakes, bodywork, tires and a windshield. If I have wheels I can finish getting back into shape and work to take care of everything else. If I get the help I need from here I PROMISE when I go back to work I will come back here and help people DOUBLE the amount of help I got. I am a hard worker who hates being on SS. Unfortunately if I don't get help my health will go backwards. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. It isn't something I can do at home because I need to be monitored the whole time. Please help. Time is important I have already lost 5 months of therapy and my legs are getting weaker and i am getting weaker. I beg you. Please. But if prayers are all you can give I will appreciate that also. God Bless you all and your families.

Medical bills old & new have me stressed

Broke and Broken, Need help!, Yakima, washington

I'm 34, have had medical problems for a few years, rapidly advancing osteoarthritis being a huge problem, but a sleep disorder(dsps), depression, and possibly fibromyalgia(Dr. suspects it, but wasn't sure last time I saw him). I no longer have health insurance, I am only working part time. Due to pain I can not work more than that. I'm stuck in that I can't work more so I can't afford to go to the Dr for needed treatments or medications that would enable me to work more. It's incredibly frustrating. So here's what I need and what it's for: 1-I need to pay some lab bills before I would be allowed back at my regular doctors office (had these done when I still had insurance, but couldn't afford my part and still keep the heat on). That's $220.00 plus $50.00 to actually see my doctor. 2- An old hospital bill got sent to collection, which then got taken to court and a garnishment was awarded, my checks aren't big enough to make it to the allowable garnishment amount so they went back to court and have frozen my bank account. I had a whole $22.35 in there, so that's all they got out of that, but I can't use that account to pay my household bills because anything I would put in there would be taken for the garnishment leaving me unable to pay rent, electric, etc. I would always pay these over the phone through my account as my pay schedule leaves little to no mailing time. That bill is now at about $1700.00. 3- I still need physical therapy from an injury I'm still dealing with from 6 months ago, that's $150.00 a visit and I'm not sure how many they would require me to go to to learn the various exercises and maintain my progress so that I can get back to walking without the cane and to ease my back pain. So lets just say 2 visits for now, making that $300.00 4- my hospital bill from my injury(the reason I need all the physical therapy)I bruised my femur, tore up my knee (not enough to require surgery, but enough to keep me from walking for a while) and injured my back. It is currently $3300.00 but I'm trying to work with the hospital on bringing that down. 5- I need eye exam and new glasses, last time I was there 6 years ago it was about $500.00 for everything 6- I need to go to the dentist, I had 2 temporary crowns put on 2 years ago, and I need to have the final crowns put on before one of these breaks. thats about $1600.00 In total that's about $7670.00 that I need. That is more than half of my yearly earnings, and it's all for health related stuff! It seems crazy that it takes so much money to maintain a little bit of health. If I could get enough to cover the garnishment amount and the lab bill so I could see my doctor again and get my bank account access back, it would go a long way towards keeping me sane and taking off a little bit of stress. That is $1970.00 If I were to receive more than that it would go to the rest of my health care needs as shown above. Thank you very much for taking time out of your day to read this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Couple wants to have baby

Educated Couple, Flagstaff, AZ

To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about doing this but here I am. My partner and I both have full time jobs working in public education. With hard work, paying bills on time, and helping others better themselves, we still find ourselves stuck in pleb status. It is our goal to have a baby together and raise a child in a loving, sustainable environment, but the cost of one vial of semen costs $800 after all fees and dry ice shipping. Sadly, there are no guarantees, so this is the most expensive lottery ticket and comes with a great deal of emotional investment. We are trying this site in hopes that Karma will help us reach our goal. Thanks for your time and hopefully your donation. -Willywaggs

In debt/Medical Expenses

Humblemother, Arkansas

I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter who I love more than anything. But getting here hasn't been easy. I had preeclampsia and many other pregnancy issues. I spent two months on bedrest before she was born and accumulated a lot of debt. After she was born I had hormone issues due to the trauma previously. I have worked really hard and I am now healthy but my husband and I are having a hard time rebounding financially. There are things we would like to be able to do but because money is so tight we are unable to do any extras. My husband and I are Christians and believe that anything you give you will be blessed for. Thank you for taking the time to read this, any help is appreciated.
