Hi All. This is probably the lowest point of my life to date. My father died when I was very young and all I have known is just me and my mom. I am now 42 and earlier this year my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She went from being a very active 86 year-old to hardly being able to move or dress without assistance. I gave up my job and moved out of rented accommodation to live with my mom and became her full-time carer. Anyway to cut a long story short, she started having chemo but after a couple of sessions it make her feel really ill and she refused further treatment. She passed away peacefully on 25 August. I didn't realise that to save money she had cancelled the insurance policy that would have paid in full the funeral costs and I was left with a bill of $3,000. I have managed to pay $1,200 of this from my depleted savings but need to find the rest in order to get her ashes back and place them in a garden of remembrance. I have no other family it was just my mom and I. Any help you can give at this point will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Johanka is 14 years old girl from Czech Republic fighting with acute myeloid leukemia. She is in hospital one and half month so far and is treated with chemotherapy and interon. Doctors said, she has a big chance to be happy girl again , but the cure costs a lot of money. Johanka has now big problems, her heart works just for 40 percent, her kidneys and liver are very ravaged, but she is strong and fighting as she can, she wants to live. Johanka loves to sing in church, you can see her video from the times she was still healthy. Please, help to Johanka to live, to smile and to sing again. I have come to a point that every job that I apply for has been a sales job. Lately a insurance sales job. And in my state I have to be licensed in order to do this. And all in all it will take about $200- $300 in order to do so. I want to be able to make a life for me and my family but i can not raise that kind of cash. And the job that I have now is only taking hours away from me, and being a caregiver is only so good, the income is not steady as it is. But for some reason, my office has been messing with my and now i only get enough money a month to pay the rent bearly. It I was able to get licensed to be able to do these sales jobs I would be able to feed my family and maintain all our bills.

So this isn't necessarily a sob story. I am a 23 year old Mexican and Black lesbian. Still living with my mother something I said I wouldn't b doing by this age. I am currently working right now making minimum wage. I am moving to California in January, given the world doesn't end on Dec. 21st. I will be living with a friend for a few months. So that was I can save up for a car nothing fancy. Something in the range of $2500-3000. I will also have to be saving for an apartment, because my friends house is small and everyone knows living wit friends doesn't last long. Once I have a car and a place to myself I will be starting film school in the fall. AKA going into major debt, because of student loans. So I am in need of a little help with saving. My mom is struggling with bills and rent its almost impossible to save. I won't be able to actually save any money until she finds a second job, which is hard because the economy sucks and no one is hiring. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

Hi I'm a 38 year old man who is in dire need of having all of my teeth removed from my mouth I do not have insurance because with my low paying job I can not afford it. A dentist or clinic won't touch me unless I pay up front I have been in and out of the hospital the past 5 years with infections that caused my entire left side of my face to swell to where my eye was squinted and black. The pain is unbearable at times and I'm afraid to eat certain foods thinking I might aggravate it the last hospital stay I had the doctor told me that if they couldn't get the swelling down they would have to go in and remove my teeth and to be honest I prayed that night that it wouldn't go down so they would but sure enough when I woke the next day I had a mouth full of infection and the swelling was decreasing not to paint a picture but this is my life I'm stupid for letting it come to this I know. But I'm tired I'm scared and I just want them all out. I want to chew a slice of pizza and not taste infection :( I thank you for reading my post and have a great day
