I am a single mother of two small children ages 6 and 3. I do have a job, I am active duty Army and I'm also a veteran. I am struggling to keep up with my bills and I have a lot of debt. I've already gone through a payday loan cycle this is why I am struggling right now. I use local resources such as food banks and the thrift stores but this just isn't enough. I could use any kind of monetary donation anything would help it would be put to good use.

My wife and I had put everything into a new home here in Texas, it was beautiful and cute. After a long move in day we went to sleep and woke up the next day to inspect the house, awesome just a little paint needed and we finished unpacking... then she got sick. Really sick. We ate, only to find that made it worse and hit the bed (hopefully to sleep it off.) By day three I realized I have not checked the AC unit in the house... well it was spreading (what we know now) to be asbestos over all of our stuff, including our food and our lungs. Everything had to be thrown out, the landlord will not help us out (says oh well not my fault) and we had to move in with our my uncle. Seems nobody wishes to help, we cannot find a lawyer that does not side with the landlord vs the tendent and wearing what we could afford from the local goodwill. Please help anything will do. My fiance and I are planning on moving into an apartment later this year. I personally am worried about our being able to pay rent and bills. We have a very, very low savings. Upon talking to somebody at the apartment complex from which we wish to rent, I learned about an opportunity to secure our home for a full 14 months. If we were able to pay the full amount up front, about $11,000, we wouldn't even have to worry if one of us was to lose our source of income. If not, we will be required to make twice the month's rent in income per month for the duration of our lease, which will be difficult considering how we will both be in school at the same time, so we won't be able to work enough to pay our bills. We are Wiccans and I in particular am searching for religious freedom. My family consists almost entirely of very traditional Christians, so I am terrified to even tell them my beliefs for fear of being alienated, even disowned. I won't say that we are just so absolutely special that we deserve everyone's pity help. We are simply two people searching for freedom and doing all that we can to achieve it.

I am a veteran of the army, I proudly served my country and almost lost my own life saving the life of a fellow soldier; I was given a fate worse than death...after the attack I was severely injured where I was considered a total loss for the army and was discharged soon after I was told I would never have a normal life in the real world due to the damage but I would receive benefits for my service. I was given a Purple Heart, National defense and War on terrorism service medal and sent home I was told my benefits and severance pay would come in six months....that was two years ago. I need to gather just enough to at least get a new leg once I have that I can function again.

Hi there, I've never done this before but I am unemployed atm because maternity leave didn't qualify for my job. My husband just got laid of 2 weeks ago and we were already trying to make ends meet. We have several interviews stacked up but also experiencing bills piling up. My children need a roof over their head I know know this makes me a bad parent that I can provide right now. They're both under the age of 3. Can you please help us?
