My friend, who I know since elementary school, has pancreatic cancer. Her state is getting worse every day and there is not much that doctors can do right now. It kills me inside that I cannot do much either. The one thing I can do is taking her for a trip to Las Vegas. I already have collected majority of funds, but it's still not enough. Hello good people I'm writing here as a measure of last resort, in the time of greatest need. I'm 22 years old college student (probably won't be able to say that soon) from Poland and recently I have lost all my savings and now I'm completely broke... A week ago, when I was gone my apartament got robbed completely. When I came back home, everything was gone: my laptop and my money. I know I shouldn't keep all of my money in the apartament and I can only blame myself for my stupidity... Police didn't find much and I don't expect them to find my stuff anyways. I can't get any other kind of help so thats why I'm asking for help here. I can't ask my parents for money, because I don't have contact with my father since I was 5, and my mother barely has the money to pay off her bills. At the moment I'm looking for a job, but it's really hard since I have a lot of classes (I'm studying mathematics) and barely have time for anything. I borrowed some money from my friends, but it won't last for long. I need to pay the rent soon, I'm completely broke and have no idea what to do now. I never felt so alone and powerless in my life. If anyone can help and send a couple of dollars, it would mean a world to me. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I am student of biomedical engineering in Poland. Unfortunatly my financial situation is very bad. Both of my parents are unemployed so they cant help me. In my city 23% peoples haven't got a job and it is very difficult nowadays to find some employment. I would like to please all good peoples about help. I know that other peoples have problems too, but when i will finish my study i would like help financial other peoples. I don't need to much. Hello, i am 30yrs old woman, from Poland. As a kid i had a surgery on my right leg that went bad. I had to undergo another 15 surgeries to start walking again. I was being treated in Italy as there were no specialists in Poland at that time and my parents spent all their savings for this. Now i am married and last fall i opened my own business which requires regular meetings with clients and a lot of driving. A week before Xmas i fell down on an icy road and twisted my right knee. I was hospitalized for a couple of weeks. Now i'm back home, but after many tests, and analysis it turns out i have to go under a surgery to fix my knee. Otherwise my knee will remain as it is and i won't be able to drive or even walk properly. This will cost about $3.000. All the medical expenses so far were covered from our credit cards. However we have no more credit, no more savings and due to the fact i cannot drive or climb the stairs i cannot run my business that also consumes a lot of money.
