When I first started getting good money after my divorce, Gene, father of my son, had just moved back home after a two month separation. He had left me with a bunch of bills when we split up, so everything I was earning was just catch up money and there wasn't much left over. When he showed up at the door I found out he had brought his brother, his brother's wife, and their 13 year old daughter with him. This was the second time they had come to live with us. His brother had already taken me for $3,000 before he ever even moved in with us the first time. Finally they left my house but left me in terrible debt. Please help.

Hi, I am a small business owner and the economy has really hurt my business. I have had to take out several loans just to try to survive, but things have taken a turn for the worse. I don't want to let my employees down and leave everyone without a job. I know a lot of folks think that business owners make a lot of money, but I think only a few manage to do that. I never thought I would do something like this, but I am in dyer need right now. I am a full time student with two part time jobs. I am barely getting by. Sometimes I don't even have enough money to eat on a daily basis. I have just recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and found out my insurance company won't pay for my chemotherapy! I am not going to spew my sob story. ...What? It would be too long. Just this - Hardworking all my life, facing doing it until the day I die, which will probably be expedited from working so hard. I simply wish to retire. I deserve it, I have earned it. If I keep going at this rate, with the stress , and the pressure, I will have a stroke and become a burden to my only child. This I wish to avoid at all costs. I wish to live simply and freely for just a bit , before I am too old to do so! How can it be in this country you can be educated and a dedicated worker for decade after decade, and still find retirement an impossibility? Must we feed this poisonous system until the day we die? It is time to break free, and live a little before we die. Please help me out of this trap. Please.

My parents have got addicted to gambling, too much that they spent all rent money and family member loan money on it. They lost their job 1 year back, and left me and my sister at my grandma's. Soon after my grandma died of cancer and left us homeless. My parents found a renting place for us to stay but they never paid rent for 6 months. We were left with minimal food payed by our aunt. We stayed in the rented place that wasn't payed for 6 months. After that the owners couldn't take it no more and they kicked us out. Now we're homeless and still going to school. Hopelessly trying to get money, begging and accessing computers through the library. Please be generous, every dollar counts as my sis and I desperately live everyday with nothing.
