My family has played the most part in me choosing my college decision. In high school, you make all these plans about what are you going to do when you graduate. What school you plan on attending and what career choice is right for you. However, we are not able to tell the future. My mother began raising my nephew and then she became very sick and these changes made me redirect my college plans. I could not bear to go off to school and leave my mother while she is sick that is why I am on this site. Right now as we speak doctors are sending her records all over the world trying to figure out how to operate on a blood clot the is blocking a valve to her heart, which could burst at any moment. I need money so that I can help my mother raise my nephew and my sister since she is unemployed and unable to work.

I'm at my wits end. I am a mother of two and need to pay the rent before my family is evicted. I was doing contract work, but now it has dried up. My husband lost his job due to downsizing. I have been dancing on the edge of the sword for three years. I almost made it. I have 12 hours and student teaching left. Three years ago, I had to file bankruptcy or lose my house. Last year, I took a 17000 cut in pay so that I could keep a job. This year my financial aid was cut by two thirds from 3000 to 800. I have twelve hours left, just twelve hours. Classes cost 1500 at my current salary i can't afford that. If i can finish my degree, I can get my teaching license and never be in this place again. please help.

Okay, here is the deal. Short and sweet. Yes, I am an Editor, but we all have money issues from time to time. I make a modest income, as does my husband. But we are house poor and live paycheck to paycheck. Right now, I have to work from home because I got too far behind on my kid's tuition. They have been out of school for over a month now. We are also behind on our mortgage and credit card bills. Most creditors have greatly reduced our credit limits, causing us to have to send in higher payments or risk a higher APR. We work hard everyday and we only want the best for our children. We have drained our savings and all our resources. Our family has helped all they can because they too have their own money issues with job loss. We only need a little help. Once we have our head above water, then we will be able to help someone else. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated. Whether its $1 or $100... we will thank you all the same. I will update this post as we reach our goal of $5000.
