my Senegal parrot needs a vet. I can't afford one. I know I could just get a new one but I've had him for 10 years almost 11. the average life span is 50 years but if I don't get him to a vet he won't make it that long. I love this bird so much. he brought so much joy into my life. please help my parrot live his whole life. I don't know what I'd do without him he is my baby. The reason he needs a vet is because he has been consuming too much food with iron for some animals this may kill them. his name is Hugo he is 13 years old his birth day is August the 1ST. I had to have my daughter committed for schizophrenic treatment a year and a half ago. She started getting voices 2 years ago this month. It has been difficult, but she is dealing with it now. She is now at home and medicated. Sometimes the voices come through the medications and torment her. I think we have been through all of the stages of grief. It helped that I had a strong support system. A few people couldn't handle it at all. And, I don't see them anymore. At this point, I don't want to. She is having voices this week. She calls me and wants me to tell the voices off and make them go away. They do for me. I don't know why. It seems that there is something psychiatric with these voices and not just the physical illness going on. Anyway, to make a long story short. I took custody of my two year old grandson just recently. For the past month, I had to miss alot of work because my daughter was hospitalized. I work for a temporary agency and they have been vary supported. By letting me work part time even though my job is full time and that's the reason why I'm here on this site. I never imagined in my entire life that I would be raising kids a second time around. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. Im just having some financial difficulties at the moment. In getting the things that he needs. So I'm just asking for a little help for him and just him. Because, I may have lost my daughters mind. I'll be damn I lose him. Thank you and God Bless

My family has had a ruff couple of years!!..in September 2008 a tree fell on our rental house and we lost everything all while my wife was 6 months pregnant two years later while still rebuilding our lives we lost our second house to fire. our debt has gotten out of control , my wife is a chemical dependency therapist with the student loans to prove it and i have now lost my job...we are now afraid to answer our phones due to being behind on everything......i just want to get our lives back to normal and would also like for my family to have real furniture instead of air mattress ...any help from anyone would be a blessing.....i have always been the problem solver of my family and now i have run out of answers and have no one to turn to....our savings is long gone and we cant pay rent any longer and our other monthly bills at the same time ...we just keep getting farther behind

I have been without a job for two years. The last business I worked for closed down. I have been unable to find employment. My husband makes just enough to exclude us from government help, but not enough to feed us everyday. The medication and supplies I need for my Type 1 diabetes cost roughly $300 per month. Our daughter recently had to get dental work done -- cavities. Today, our water got shut off. Please help us. We work hard, but are drowning. Please.
