I am currently seeking help in paying off my student loan debt. I have had the student loan since 2000 and received a consolidation loan in 2007. Here is the current balance information: Date Loan Type Status Balance 05/23/2007 Unsub Consolidation Loan Repayment $9,375.09 05/23/2007 Subsidized Consolidation Loan Repayment $10,278.16 I am 40 years old and I feel like I will retire before this loan is paid off. I just can’t seem to get the balance down. Back in 2001 I had some personal troubles where I lost my job, my home, my marriage. I spent the next 5 years without a permanent home. I finally was able to move in with my parents in 2006; and just last year moved out. It seems like now matter how long I pay this, the balance never really goes down. I tried increasing my payment but the weight of this loan I killing me. I still don’t make what I did 10 years ago; and that makes this repayment so tough. I recently got married and while my wife’s part-time income helps it’s not enough. If we didn’t have this payment we would be able to save for an HSA or pay off other debt and save for the future. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello I don't think i can get money here but i try because i tried everything to solve our problem. My stepfather is very sick he had a cancer. The doctors are said he have a year in this planet. But we run out of money becuse he loose his job and my mother too. Im a student i spent my student loan his medicines but i run out the money too. I would like to ask you if you had a little money to a sick man and his family please donate me. Im live in hungary and we can't get any help from my goverment. He only need 1000$ to get his medicines and food. Thank you to read this post an sorry for my english. Any small donate can help our family to survive.

I am a struggling mother of 3 trying to get by on almost nothing. This week I lost my entire amount of unemployment, which is a measly $150, to bank fees and I have no where to turn. I apply to any and all jobs that I can. I would love to be working and providing for my family, but that just no longer seems feasible in America. I am asking for any kind hearts out there to please help me and my children get by in tough times and for those that can help, in the future you will see your good karma repaid to you. Hello, I’m writing this letter asking for assistance. I lost my job and is now unemployed. My benefits have run out. I have tried to find work over the last year but with the bad economy, it’s been tough to find employment. I have used all my resources and I’m not sure how I’m going to support my family. I am in need of funds to help with mortgage and pay bills that have disconnection notices. I just need keep a roof over my families head.
