Sudden crisis please help, Texas
Hi there, I've never done this before but I am unemployed atm because maternity leave didn't qualify for my job. My husband just got laid of 2 weeks ago and we were already trying to make ends meet. We have several interviews stacked up but also experiencing bills piling up. My children need a roof over their head I know know this makes me a bad parent that I can provide right now. They're both under the age of 3. Can you please help us?
Negatively geared financially
My work and financial life has hit rock bottom due to illness and injury.
Two years ago I was stricken with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I struggled with this condition while trying to hold onto my job for twelve months. Working in a heavy industry while badly fatigued caused an injury to my spine and I have now been out of work for twelve months due to this with no end in sight. CFS has no known cure, so the road ahead will be tough for sometime to come. I have sold all of my posessions to buy food and pay bills, but have run out of things worth selling. If you can genuinely help me I will be forever grateful.
It is sad that I have only had people trying to loan me money, of which more debt is the last thing I need. I have also been contacted by scammers and for a man in my financial position, that is a despicable act!
broke
My work and financial life is at rock bottom due to illness and injury. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome struck me two years ago after some very stressful personal life changes. While trying to hold onto my job with this condition, it took its toll and with the heavy type of work I was doing has also damaged my spine badly. I have been negatively geared financially for the past year out of work and have sold everything I owned to buy food etc. I am now here.
Too many bills to count
To all of the good people reading,
Hey there. I know it is a long shot, but here I am asking for help.
I was not exactly sure how to ask, or even begin for that matter, since about 2 days ago. That's when I decided it was time.
My name is Jazzmene. I have been married for 3 years this past September 13th. My husband is a wonderful man who served 3 years in the United States Air Force only to be Honorably Discharged. Since that day, we have been in a mess.
When I was 13 years old, I was diagnosed with PCOS. Not so much a deadly disease, but a difficult one. In May of 2010, I had surgery to remove a tumor from my ovary. I was told then that I needed to see my doctor every three months for 3 years following. I did my best without insurance. If there was a pain, I went. If there was depression, I went. I racked up some big bills. And not only that, we also acquired many bills along the way. So many, that I have lost track.
When my husband was discharged from the USAF, we both began working in an assisted living home. It didn't get us by at all. We lost our apartment, our cars, our possessions. Pardon my language, but it sucked. Bad. At this point, we moved back in with my mother. He continued to work, I was let go. He then lost his job, but quickly fond another in a less than reputable company. He was recently let go from that company as well. Now, we sit here in a small apartment we share with a roommate (who is not in the best financial situation either), and wonder what is going to happen next.
This letter is not only for me though. I am asking for your help for my mother as well. She is a saint. I love her to death. I also owe her a lot of money. She helped us out when no one else would and put herself behind.
I know I have not given all details about everything, but I am literally so exhausted from thinking about it, I can't even write everything. It kills me to know how much debt we are in. How much debt my mom is in.
I also know that my situation is probably not as bed as some other people. I know this. But I need help. We need help. I was not exactly sure on how to ask someone as busy as you for help, but here it is. I need money. I also want to thank you for reading this all the way through. I know it has taken some time to read it because it is pretty long.
Again, thank you so much for even reading this all the way through. All and any help help is much appreciated. THANK YOU!
In need of Money for Rent and Food
A Son and His Father, Phoenix Az
I am a single father of my seventeen year old boy who sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury several years back. We have lost everything but our willingness to survive!
It has been the worst thing in our lives and the best thing. I have become closer to him than any other individual. Our bond is inseparable. Now that things are where I can go back to work full time, I am slowly gaining momentum making $2500 per month. Until I reach $3500 per month I fall short every month by that Thousand dollars +/- creating a struggle between paying for food, utilities and Rent. Today, I will be without rent money next week of $970 for our apartment. I have paid utilities and have some food. There is optimism on the future as next month around the 15th I have additional work to allow for less struggles paying insurance and medicine and the other expenses the upcoming month. Right now it just seems impossible to get even. Every month I battle juggling for medical services, medication and general living expenses all to get by. Help from others is much need as I never asked for much and always helped in the past. Please help if you can as we will be indebted for your assistance in these trying times! Thank you for reading.
Matt
