Good Afternoon, I am a 25 year-old college student, i will be finishing my degree in 6 months. I pay for my own tuition, rent and other living expenses on one part-time job (by a wing and a prayer), (which have been difficult for the past two years), I guess i feel it is worth the temporary struggle to obtain my education. I am also very involved in healthy social activities, I volunteer at my church and spend time with at risk youth, this has enriched my life and kept me positive depite my extreme hardships. This year is an exciting year for me, my other half of my family who i have not seen in 6 years has reached out to me and would like to see me this thanksgiving in Texas! I was so excited, but unfortunately i do not have the funds, to get a ticket especially with prices being so high for the holidays, my biggest wish ever would be to see them. Any lcontribution whether small or big would be a great help so that i can see them, even if it is just one way fare, ANYTHING would be a great help, because i simply do not have it. your kindness and understanding is greatlly appreciated, God bless you. -hardworking college student

I'm needing some help providing some kind of income I was in the Joplin mo tornado and lost my right lung due to a dieses caused by the tornado iam fighting for my disability but we are two year in my wife works but with just one income and two kids we are pretty desperate.anything helps

I feel kind of nauseous doing this but here goes.. I am a 59 y.o.partially disabled peacetime vet who is trying to be more independent. I was treated for a serious disease last winter and am still receiving medical care at the VA for other issues. I work as a waitress and it's getting more difficult to keep up. I work from paycheck to tip to paycheck and I pay the most urgent bills and hope to get to the other ones later. I have been living with my son and daughter in law for 3 years now and I really would like to get out of their space. I am looking to acquire a small, older model motorhome to move into. It would be just perfect for my situation. I could probably find one for about $4000. It would save me money on rent in the long run. Hi, My name is Crystal. I am a single mother of two small children, both boys ages 8 and 5. The reason I am posting this, Is because a while back ago, I was addicted to opiates. And for my children I fought that battle and got myself clean. I have been in drug treatment and have been clean for well over 2 years now. I have my treatment appointment every month, Which is $110.00. And getting the medicine filled every month is also very expensive. It is very important for me not to miss any doses of my medicine.My insurance that has been covering part of my addiction treatment, Has officially ran out. It will only pay for up to two years of treatment. And with my living situation right now, It would not be good to stop the treatment. I have a lot of faith in God, So I know he will take care of this for me. But I am still asking that everyone continue to spread the word about this donation site to help with the cost of the treatment and medications that I have to take to stay on the path of recovery. This is very important for my family to continue doing well. If it wasn't, Then I wouldn't be putting myself through the embarrassment of asking for help.The medicine is an opiate blocker and it has saved my life. My children need me and I can't take any chances of relapsing. I also just lost my mother last month to stage 4 lung cancer, So I am trying to keep it together for my kids and not let this get the best of me. So that is another reason I don't need to be without my medication. I am being honest here so please don't judge me. I draw a small SSD check monthly, But with 2 children I barely have money left over for anything else at all, So much less getting my medicine filled. I am also wanting to get up the money to get me and my children in a better living situation than what we are in at the moment. I believe that there is a God all mighty and that he will take care of us, But I also believe I am suppose to try and help myself too and not just wait for things to just fall into my lap.
