Hello all. As for most this is very difficult for me. I really do not want to sound like a sob story but it is the honest truth. I am 41 years old and a Navy veteran. I live in Virginia and worked as a landscaper for around a month never missing a day. That is until I got sick and was hospitalized for three days. I was diagnosed with hypertension, type 2 diabetes and near kidney failure. I was then told by the doc to take a week off to let the meds start to work. What I didn't know was that Virginia is an "at will" state. Meaning your employer can fire you for no reason or any reason at all. I was stuck with thousands of dollars worth of medical bills. My wife worked at the hospital but lost her job because the insurance company she worked for didn't have enough cases. We have her unemployment checks until we can get jobs again. But our water was turned off. Our bill is $800 and we are currently buying water from the store with her unemployment money. The water company wants the money in full. I am not asking for a huge amount of money. Just whatever is in anyone's heart that God blesses him or her to donate. Or even if you would like to help by paying a small portion of the bill. If you need proof please contact me. I thank all from the bottom of my heart. I love to help people not because it makes me feel good (even though it does ,lol) but because God wants us to help each other. I pray that everyone on this site gets out of and stays out of debt.
