To start up an animal shelter in Brazil

My name is Chris Hughes and I have recently started up a charitable organization rescuing cats and dogs in Brazil. Brazil is growing fast but is a 3rd world country and has little resources for helping these poor animals. I am British born but moved to Brazil a few years ago, after seeing how bad the cats and dogs situation is here I have decided to make it my goal to help them.
