Hi I'm studying at University, but having just lost a job I'm finding it impossible to survive over summer. Rent is due at the end of month of £500 and I'm unable to claim any welfare due to being a full time student (even over summer when I receive no loan or grant). I have tried my bank and unfortunately they are unwilling to help in any way. I'm out of ideas and would appreciate any help you could give me. Ideally £1000 would see me through to my next Student grant payment (2 months rent + money for food) however half of that is more essential as hopefully I will have found a job by then.
