STRANDED IN FOREIGN COUNTRY

Hello, I´m an American who is now stranded in Peru. I came to Peru to do volunteer work in the small villages around Iquitos in the Amazon rainforest. However I have recently been assaulted and robbed, most of my things as well as my passport have been stolen. I now have no recourse nor anyone back in the States who can assist me. I urgently need help, 2-3000 dollars should be enough for me to get a new passport and get back home. Please help if possible. Thank you.
