I never thought in a million years that I would be doing something like this but here I am. I am trying desperately to raise funds to save our home from foreclosure. My husband and I are just your average American family but this economy and some tough medical problems have taken its toll on us like so many others. Over the last four years we have both lost our parents and both battled personal medical problems. My husband is self employed in the construction industry and even though things are picking up now the last couple of years there just was very little work. We personally built our home 10 years ago and drove in every nail and painted every wall ourselves. Unless we raise money to get up to date on our mortgage we will lose the home that we have worked so hard to keep. If you could please find it in your heart to help us there are no words that could express our gratitude. I promise if you help us that I will pay it forward given the first opportunity that I have. I have a scholarship for college, but it does not include books! I am needing about $500 in book fare, but anything would help (even $100 or $25, anything!). I am having a hard time paying for books, and i am having a hard time paying for bus, subway, cabs to get where I need to go. Anything would help thank you!

I really just wanted to return a favor my brother as done for me a couple years ago. He bought me an iPhone 3g and I was speechless. I am currently unemployed and my brother and I a really close. Just want to show him that I can finally get him something for Christmas that I haven't been able to do the last 2 years, even if it is late Christmas present.
