I never thought in a million years that I would be doing something like this but here I am. I am trying desperately to raise funds to save our home from foreclosure. My husband and I are just your average American family but this economy and some tough medical problems have taken its toll on us like so many others. Over the last four years we have both lost our parents and both battled personal medical problems. My husband is self employed in the construction industry and even though things are picking up now the last couple of years there just was very little work. We personally built our home 10 years ago and drove in every nail and painted every wall ourselves. Unless we raise money to get up to date on our mortgage we will lose the home that we have worked so hard to keep.
