I am 28 yrs old Married with 2 children , I am in debt together with my husband in the amount of $17,000.00. We accumualted debt because of school debt, some medical debt , but mostly , car repair, acts of god, situations. My husband and my combined income barely makes 30k a year. I have went to school but cannot find a job, in my field of study, i work parttime, for barely above minumum wage. he works full time for about 15$ a hour. Right now we are paying our debt off and are up to date on our payments but, we are trying to go back to school and grants only cover so much . I cannot do school and work as my children dont have a daycare I can afford. We have cut down on alot of uneeded things so that we can make these payments on time and not have to open another card just to make rent car payment.We have 2 cars one 2001 sport trac, we bought used payed it off but now it doesnt work after we already put almost 6k into fixing it. The other is a chevy traverse but now its acting up 2009 got it used as well but its not payed off. I am also trying to get our own home, we rent right now from my mother in law. I am applying to jobs left and right and have not found any in my area that will fit my husbands schedule and help us make ends meet. Really down on our luck here I am asking for , $19,000.00 this money will be used to pay off all of our debt and to fix the sport trac so I can use the vehicle to find a better job. with the monthly payments gone I will be able to afford daycare to , have my children safe so I can go to work full time. that is my goal right now. if i can find a better job we may have enough credit to , get a fha loan or at least be able to save money and get our own home. Please if anyone can help in anyway i would appreciate it. I dont have cancer I am not dying but i will say i cannot even afford medical insurance for my husband and I, I made sure my children have insurance but that is costly we really need help.

Hello, I guess you have read many these requests for money with people giving various reasons and pleas for money. I never thought I would be in this situation after all in the Autumn of 2010 I had plenty of money for my needs after a good redundancy pay off. Then I started getting ill in June 2011 with neighbours from hell damaging my car by throwing paint remover over it. I had been having problems for years with them and a council that always made excuses for their tenant. When they was finally forced into doing something they just got him to agree to stop harassing me. Then sure enough once the 12 month period was up my vehicle was damaged. Then it got as far as him and his friends another neighbour talking not at me but loud enough for me to hear when I was near them that it was best to keep moving as don't want a heart attack and to get on your Bike. I was disgusted with the Council yet again giving excuses for doing nothing and even the police just sent a community support officer round, you could see he was scare of the locals by the way he quickly moved on if the spoke to him.. After months of this I had a break down and ended up in hospital detained as I was not looking after my weight and well being. While in hospital for September 2011 till august 2012 my nephew and older brother said they would look after my house and get repair work done. but on getting well in 2012 and starting to take back control of my affairs I found they and Their friends they had paid to do the repair work had conned me. There is nothing that hurts more than finding those you trusted would happily rob you when you are ill and vulnerable. To make matters worse the so called builders where Police officers working on their days off allegedly they through the family charged me tens of thousands and did very little work, which was of poor standard. I tried using the last thousand of my money hiring a Debt Recovery Company to get my money back but after £1000 was use up I was broke and no closer to getting my stolen money returned I tried contacting Trading standards but at first they would do nothing, after I complained they had someone send one of the builders a email telling them the customers rights to cancel! Then they claimed it was a civil matter and they would do no more. I contacted the Police to report they crime and they too said it was a civil matter and would do nothing about it. I even tried on advice reporting the Police officer (Would be builder) to the main Police HQ as he was a severing officer who had committee fraud in his off duty hours. Yet they said they would do nothing and that they though even the IPCC would do nothing. Yet when I spoke o a lawyer by email and phone, she said I need to persists as what they did was fraud and not to let the Police stone wall me and ignore the crime. Now in 2013 Oct I find myself, with no means to live on , denied benefit (appealing with Citizens Advice help) having to live on charity for food from food banks. yet my Doctor gave me a fit note saying not fit for work till 31/12/2013. I am meant to eat fruit and fresh food to help lose weight as well as treat my none alcoholic liver disease and diverticulosis. yet I have no money to afford any and when at food banks you are grateful for what you can get, even though most is tins or dried food. Yes they make allowances for vegetarian etc at food banks. As of now I have no income, debts building fear of having heating on or electric. I have a half finished home with news paper taped up at the windows for over a years as I cannot afford curtain track. I have rain getting in and causing damage to the two chimney stacks on my home, with growing damp patches I have registered at the local library for internet access so at least I can access information and rights online. Hence I now find myself here begging for money to help sort out my life, home and problems.. Never thought I would be in this situation at the age of 50...

Hello, I'm 54 years old and lost my husband to cancer several years ago. Due to hospital bills, after his passing there wasn't much insurance money left. After a couple of years (with two teenage sons) I had to either sell the house or lose it to foreclosure, I sold it but didn't gain anything with the sale. Since that time I've continued struggling. There has been no great event that has put me in financial hardship, it's been a like a snowball rolling downhill and piling up at the bottom. I do work and actually have a pretty good job, however due to old issues I can never get above water. I owe the IRS (I did not contribute enough because I needed all I could get) - I owe student loans and have really bad credit due to being unable to pay other loans because of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I try to pay as much as possible and then don't have any food money. I know there are people out there that have had catostrophic happenings in their lives that would make my problems seem small but they don't seem small to me. All I want is to be debt free and be able to put a little away for when I can't work anymore, if anyone could help, even a little I greatly appreciate it and if I am ever in a position will 'pay it forward' to someone else.
