I've been out of work for months now. I moved back to my home town after a death in my family and was guaranteed a job before I arrived. They didn't tell me it was a temporary position for only two months and I now have a pile up of bills and I'm down to my last $20. If I knew this I would have stayed where I was and waited until I had a full time, permanent job before I moved back to my home town. I am NOT lazy. I have lost count how many places I have applied to work at. Employment agencies have literally told me, "We have nothing." Starting next week I'll be out of food. Anything will help.

I lost my job over a year ago. I have been refused food stamps. Every week I have to look for money. I am 55 yrs old and am finding it very difficult to get a job. It is Wednesday 01/18/2012 and I have spent my last 3 dollars on a value meal at burger king.
