Should've Ubered to the ER

My situation isn’t the same as those facing domestic stuff or anything as serious. I just didn’t think I’d end up here, but I guess no one expects to be in a rough spot.
Long story short: my last job gave me PTSD and flared a pre-existing condition to the point I couldn’t keep working. EI kept me going for a bit, but that’s ended, and disability's still pending. After the couple years I've had, I don’t qualify for even a sketchy loan because I guess banks don't love when you apply with vibes over credit.
Anyway, the irony is that I’m finally well enough to start working (at least a little bit), and should be paid in a few weeks, but just got hit with an unexpected ambulance bill from back when I was sicker. I’m down to one meal a day. At least my cats are fine—they eat even when I don't. (I adopted them when I was in a very different financial situation.) But to be honest, I'm a bit lost.
Anyway, if anyone has any resources or help, I’d be grateful. I honestly just don't know where to go from here, you know?
