Lost job due to mental illness. Credit Cards are $1500 overdrawn

I have severe anxiety and depression. I always have, but for some reason about 11 months ago it got worse than it's ever been. I would have severe panic attacks one day, then the following day I would have a migraine that would make it impossible to get out of bed.(Severe head pain, dizziness, vomiting, confusion, weakness, the works) I was calling in sick 1-2 times a week and eventually could not work anymore.
My card wasn't overdrawn at the time, but I wasn't able to make large enough payments (We are living off my fiancé's paycheck) and nearly $2000 in interest and fees racked up. If I could just get back down to the point where creditors aren't calling me anymore I would be able to deal with it. In total I have about $10,000 in credit card debt. However I just need that $1500 payed off so I can stop feeling like I'm drowning. If anyone could help me I would be extremely grateful.
