Grief, Debt, and Homelessness. Want to rebuild my life back

Homeless But Not Hopeless, Hel, Kenya

After losing my wife to cancer six months ago, my life took a devastating turn. Along with the unbearable grief of her passing, I was left with overwhelming medical debt that I simply could not pay. Just two months later, I received an eviction notice, and with nowhere else to go, I found myself on the streets. For the past four months, I have been homeless, struggling each day to survive while trying to find a way forward. To make matters worse, in an effort to settle some of my debts, my belongings—including my most essential tool, my computer—were auctioned off. As a technical writer and storyteller, my computer was not just a possession; it was my livelihood. Without it, I have been unable to work, making my situation even more desperate. The lack of a stable roof over my head has only made it harder to regain my footing. I am not asking for a handout—just an opportunity to rebuild my life. With a safe place to live and access to basic necessities, I can start working again and regain my independence. Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing my story, would make a world of difference in helping me move forward.
