Hello, I am a battered woman who recently left a 7 year abusive relationship. I had moved out of state with my ex and got a job. Only two weeks later he bashed my face in and I went to the hospital and had him arrested. The nurses were extremely helpful. They pitched in and bought me a train ticket home that night. I left everything I had. I had no clothes or car or anything when I got back to my home state. My sister has been a blessing. She sometimes buys me clothes from the local thrift shop. Bit other than her help, I have nothing. Getting out of that toxic situation was the best thing and the hardest thing to do in my life. I am trying to start over but it is very hard when I have no car or way to get to a job. I just need help getting back on my feet. Anything would be appreciated.
