Need a touch from an angel!!
My fiance and I moved into our first apartment in February and we were so excited!! Until, they changed our apartment the last minute and the power was already turned on in the first apartment. We called to transfer the service but it was a holiday weekend so they couldn't do it till Tuesday, so we had to go four days without power. Then less than two weeks of our moving into our apartment someone broke into our place and stole both our laptops! One was issued by my employer so I had to pay to replace it. And the last straw was two days later my husband lost his job!! We are barely getting by just paying rent let alone power! Now our power has been disconnected and what food we do have is spoiling! We are always the first to be there when others need help and now we desperately ask for your help ourselves.. We promise to pay it forward and continue to help others as well. Thank you all!!
The total bill is 320 but only need 120 to turn it back on.... Are there any angels out there
Cant believe it but....
OK so here goes...never ever thought i would be doing anything like this but as a lot of families at the minute we are desperate. The past couple of years have been pretty tough on our family – myself and my husband both lost our dads within a year of each other, which in itself was hard enough – not only dealing with the loss of our dads, but also having to be there emotionally, physically and financially for our mums. My mum was recently taking ill (don’t really want to talk about this) as it is very emotional but she is slowly getting better. As a result of this I had to give up work to look after her – I am currently looking for another job but I am finding it very difficult to find anything. My husband works full time to support us but it is just not enough for us to get by – we are struggling with our mortgage payments and I am petrified that we will lose our house – I just don’t know what we would do!!!! We have no one we can turn to – our families aren’t in the position where they can help us, so we cant ask for help and we don’t want our mums to worry as we feel they have been through enough. We are just at a loss for what to do. We are both hardworking people who have never depended on the system and don’t want to have to rely on the government – we just need a little help to get us through this rough patch. We are staying positive and hoping our luck will finally change – we want the best for our young son and at the moment we feel like we are letting him down despite us trying our hardest to turn things aroung. If anyone at all can help us we would be eternally grateful – we are not asking for a lot and as we’re finding every penny counts. Please help us through this desperate time in our lives, Thanks, Hannah.

Hi,
I'm Adam, I'm 21 years old and I am currently a student at University.
Due to unexpected bills and bank charges, I am left completely penniless.
I have been on many job interviews lately to try and earn some money the real way, unfortunately however, I have been unsuccessful.
I really do hate the idea of begging online, it is absolutely ridiculous but I'm left with no choice. In all fairness, it is entirely my fault I landed myself in so much debt. Not due to excessive drinking (or anything else people expect of students) but simply down to the fact that I should have kept track of my bills and bank charges.
I'm not trying to justify my mistakes, but I am new to the whole independent lifestyle. I'm in my first year of University, 300 miles from home and now that I have no money I am finding it hard to survive.
All I am asking for is a small donation, something to help me get by for a couple of weeks. Under any other circumstances my mother would be able to help me, however she has currently undergone an operation and is out of work for three months.
I need the money to buy food and study materials, I am seriously struggling at the moment and I don't know where else to turn. In future I will learn from my mistakes and keep track of my finances a whole lot better, but for now, please, spare just a little bit of money.
Kind regards,
Adam.
