Aim: I'm just asking for a little bit of help while I wait to start my second job. I fell a little bit behind on rent and use temporary hand.
- I am a 44 year old woman from Fayetteville North Carolina. The cost of living is pretty high but what's even worse is finding a second job. I have fallen on hard times after getting demoted at my job illegally by my GM. I told the truth about what was going on on the floor where I work and it had a lot to do with him and an aerial supervisor. They were making it hard for everybody on the floor to work with the things that they were doing. So to stop me from continuing on my campaign they literally decided to make it seem like I had performance issues. I've been doing my job for 13 years all of a sudden I have performance issues? Anyway I went from making 20 an hour to 16. He immediately took everything away from me and didn't even have a meeting with me he did not tell me anything until I came into work right before my payday and he didn't even tell me he took away my pay I had to find that out when I got paid. I think he was hoping I was going to quit work, but I've put too much time and effort in where I work so that's not going to happen. It took me a long time to find a second job, but I can't start it until I get another social security card. I was unaware of the jobs are currently taking pictures of your social security card now in order to hire you. I have until the end of October to get they money I need before my landlord sends it to an attorney to start the eviction process. I've tried everything to make extra money even apps that allow you to do side hustles but all of them were too far away plus I don't drive so I couldn't do Uber or Doordash. I understand that at my age I should have been well prepared, but things happen and sometimes you just fall behind. I'm hoping I will receive the help I need so that my pets and I will not be homeless especially now that winter is close. I plan to use the money to pay my rent and hopefully when I start my second job I'll be able to stay caught up until I move out. I thank everybody in advance who is willing to give me a hand.
