Hello I’m Ray, in my 50s, unemployed, and trying to overcome several setbacks to get back on my feet again. I’m here because I'm going through an unpredictably hard time in life. I’ve lost both parents, gone through a divorce, watched my daughter endure abuse, then recently suffer the loss of her husband to suicide.

Through it all, I’ve stayed strong - but now I do need help. I’ve been unemployed for over a year, and can't cover basics this month. I don't like to ask for help, but find myself in a position of need.
